Lucy's Back Home!!!

After spending a week with her Daddy in Virginia, I am happy to report that Lucy is back home!!! It was a long week for me without her around...I was lost and couldn't sleep well. The drive to North Carolina to meet them on Saturday was an experience to say the least. I got pulled over for speeding on I-20 and ended up with a $155 ticket. That's what I get for being so anxious to see my daughter! After picking Lucy up, I had a flat tire on the way back which added an extra hour to our trip home. I am happy to report that there were no further mishaps, and we were very glad to be home. After a brief trip to visit Nana, Papa, Aunt Windy, Uncle Mark and the cousins Paige (Pam), Jennifer (Tiffany) and Jackson at the park where they were camping, we went home and crawled right into bed. After a 12 hour rest, we spent a leisurely Sunday around the house and then visited Nana and Papa in the evening. Lucy and Kaleigh played in the pool, I washed my car and I even got to see my newest niece, McKinley! Being around all of these new babies makes me want another one! LOL
