Back To Work

The weekend was uneventful as I planned...and I didn't go for sushi :(

I woke up Saturday morning with a splitting headache, so I spent most of the morning on the couch. Several Ibuprofen capsules later, I was able to get motivated and cleaned the entire house from top to bottom. These frequent headaches are really beginning to get annoying...I'm sure they are allergy related, so maybe they won't be quite as frequent in the coming weeks.

We spent the rest of the weekend trying to get organized. I still have a few boxes of miscellaneous stuff in the utility room for which I have not found space for, especially lots of CD-R's and software. Lucy and I made a trip to the local Wal-Mart on Sunday to buy one of those little plastic rolling carts with drawers and spent most of the afternoon unpacking several boxes. I'm pleased with the end result. I also looked for several picture frames, but didn't care for the selection too much, so I passed on that until I can find frames that I really like. I'm so ready to get my pictures up on the walls to add a little style to the house...I'm such a procrastinator. We also went through Lucy's book collection and got rid of a lot of the "baby" books that she has outgrown. We took them to her preschool this morning and made a donation! Now if I could just get her to do the same with her toys!!!

Lucy is getting very excited about her upcoming program and graduation. The ceremony will be this Saturday evening, so the kids will be practicing all week at preschool. I hope to have a real camera by then, but at the very least, I should be able to use Mom's camera. So stay tuned for pictures/videos of the proceedings.
